There is no AC, something that could be lethal during the summer.
My single room didn't have a TV either (I'm not sure if larger rooms have one).
Clearly not a fancy hotel: rooms consist of a bed, a chair, a closet, a phone. You also get a private bathroom, which is probably the reason this place gets 3 out of 5 stars in the standard hotel rating system. It is, however, a bit below the average 3 star hotel. I guess my expectations were a bit higher.
The price is reasonable: I paid 40 euros per night, but that's because the hotel has special offers for researchers who are in Bologna to work at the nearby Istituto Gramsci: the full price is probably around 60/70 euros, which is not bad anyway.
The hotel is also within walking distance from the train station.
No AC. It's the only really bad thing if you're in Bologna during the summer.
