You can reach Bologna by car, plane or train. I use the train because Bologna is well linked and it's on the italian high speed railway, so you can reach it in 1 hour from Florence, 1.5 hours from Milan and less than 3 hours from Rome (In the photo you can see the rail station).If you arrive here by plane you can reach the city centre by a bus that connect the city to the airport in 20/30 mins. you can also use the taxi, but is more expansive.
Inside Bologna you can use tha public bus, because are cheaper and efficently.
