There was bad weather that late afternoon when I came to Ferrara. I was lucky to find parking place on Piazza Travaglio, which is, following Via San Romano, in a short walking distance to Piazza Trento Trieste. At the beginning of Via San Romano there is a small hotel with same name. I took single room, very clean and comfortable, with nice bathroom for only 50 euros.
I didn't expeect much because, in my experience, most of the three stars hotels situated in the centre of the towns offering less or nothing for the price I've paid. It is a fact that in Italy most of the hotels with position take advantage of it.
