The Ferrara Hostel

A lovely new, clean hostel in an old palace. Very well organised and cheap. We stayed in a twin room for 16 euros each (14 euros in dorm beds). Our room was great, with a table, chairs, THREE beds and loads of room. Very airy and fantastic toilets in the hall! The only bad thing I could say is that there isn't much atmosphere yet as the hostel is quite new - there are no boardgames, books, etc... but a great place to sleep all the same!
Only 1 km from the station and pretty much in the centre of town!

Unique Quality: Cleaner than most hostels, airier, lots of storage space (wardrobes!)

Cut Down on Nightlife but Save a Few Euro

Situated within a walking distance from the old heart of Ferrara, this basic but clean hostel offers a good night's sleep in sex-seggregated dorms. If you miss your opposite sex partner, you can still try Morse.. ;) There is a 23.30 curfew though.

Unique Quality: Nothing really. Perhaps high ceilings adding a touch of class? Still, everything's perfect for the price of 13 EUR a night (12 for groups).
