Town of Sforza and Borgia
The majority of people, who know Imola, know it because of its racetrack. Formula 1 Gran Prix is held here every year. Imola is small town in vicinity of Bologna and has to offer much. Its very important historical town mostly because of two renaissance persons: Caterina Sforza, lady of Imola and of Forli and Cesare Borgia. For more information about that period you should read book “Now and then” (can’t remember name of that English writer). Imola could be your day trip if you are in Bologna, Modena or Ferara but also final destination if you are trackrace fun.
