Agriturismo del Papa: Nice agriturismo stay
During our visit Maranello area in June 2009, we stayed one night in Agriturismo del Papa, which is very nice and pleasant place.
When we entered their empty restaurant in the next building, we were a bit scare, but in 30 minutes you would hardly find any free table. Home made pasta was simply excellent! (We had tasting journey, so we were really satisfied.) Price (meal and accomodation) also very reasonable.
In the next morning we had excursion in their Azienda Agricola, where parmigiano and different salamis are produced (to see whole process we had to be there at 7 am). That was the reason why we were offered by their accomodation.
Simple and clean accomodation, great food, nice price

Planet Hotel: Across the road from the Ferrari factory.
I would thoroughly recommend this 4 star hotel for both tourists or business travellers proposing to stay in Maranello. Its location right opposite the main gates to the Ferrari factory make this hotel an ideal choice to those who are in the town to see all things Ferrari. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Galleria Ferrari (Ferrari museum) where there is an excellent display of Ferrari's racing and road car history with many rare and exclusive cars on display. The hotel is only a short distance from the Fiorano test track and it is possible to view both road. GT and F1 cars pounding round the track if you care to walk 500 yards or so down the main road and peer through the fence like many others who stop by the side of the road. The noise of the cars (F1 in particular) can quite clearly be heard from the hotel.
The hotel itself was excellent and the staff very welcoming and helpful. We had booked a Junior suite as there were 4 of us and I thought the duplex room on the top floor was finished to a high standard and had a very large balcony which overlooked the Ferrari factory. At £120 for this room per night on bed & breakfast, I thought it was excellent value. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, only a small breakfast area. However, I can definitely recommend having a meal in the Ristorante Cavallino which is only just around the corner. This is a Ferrari themed restraurant with many photos and other memorabilia hanging from the walls. A large Ferrari merchandise store is also just around the corner. The hotel also has its own car parking facilities.
