Can an adult with teens (14 & 16) borrow the bicycles for the teens?
Well, I see that the link for the website that I listed with my tip on the subject is no longer valid...
In looking at the updated Ravenna website, this is what I have found...
1. The service is currently suspended - see http://www.comune.ra.it/pagine/index.php?t=trasporti&ref=1&id=11 (only in Italian). The suspension was done in order to take the bikes out of service to maintain them. It is not clear to me if this is a long-time outage, or the normal late winter outage where the bikes are taken out of service from January to March or so for annual maintenance (yes, I know it's early May now).
2. The new website for tourist information in English for Ravenna is http://www.turismo.ravenna.it/index.php?lang=2
3. There is a fee-based bicycle rental in Ravenna from the Cooperativa San Vitale - see http://www.turismo.ra.it/contenuti/index.php?t=trasporti&id=14&cat=6&lang=2
However, I haven't found a website or other information about them yet...

You must absolutly check my site (www.glendarold.org) and the Ravenna touristic site (www.turismo.ravenna.it).
Then you have to visit the wonderful monuments full of mosaics in Ravenna. When I'm away from Ravenna I miss it as a quite place. RAvenna is not crowded, you can move freely downtown on foot or by bike (you can rent it for free at the tourist office)

Neppure dopo la morte Dante Alighieri potè trovare quella pace che la sua esistenza di esule gli negò, se si eccettuano gli ultimi cinque anni trascosi con i suoi figli alla corte di Guido Novello Da Polenta, signore di Ravenna. Proprio qui a Ravenna, nella notte tra il 13 e il 14 settembre del 1321, Dante morì, e il suo corpo fu posto in un rozzo sarcofago di marmo accanto alla basilica di San Francesco, la stessa dove furono celebrate le esequie. E subito cominciarono le vicissitudini delle sue spoglie mortali, colpa dei fiorentini che insistevano a rivendicarle. Un rischio che parve diventare certezza quando salirono al soglio pontificio due Medici, i fiorentini Leone X e Clemente VII. Il primo, infatti, a seguito di una supplica caldeggiata anche da Michelangelo concesse ai suoi concittadini il permesso di prelevare le ossa del poeta per portarle a Firenze, ma quando questi, una volta a Ravenna, scoperchiarono l'ara, la trovarono vuota. Le ossa erano state trafugate dai frati della vicina chiesa: attraverso un buco nel muro forarono il sarcofago e le 'misero in salvo'.
E le difesero con accanimento: basti dire che quando nel 1692 fu fatta la manutenzione della tomba, gli operai lavoravano sorvegliati dai soldati. Le spoglie rimasero lì fino al 1810, poi i frati, per effetto delle leggi napoleoniche che comandavano la soppressione degli ordini religiosi, dovettero lasciare il convento. Allora le seppellirono, custodite nella cassetta dove padre Antonio Sarti le aveva racchiuse nel 1677, in una porta murata dell'attiguo oratorio del quadrarco di Braccioforte: solo nel 1865 vennero ritrovate durante i restauri all' edificio nel sesto centenario della nascita di Dante. Tornarono così nel primitivo sarcofago, dove riposano tuttora, salvo una breve parentesi (marzo 1944-dicembre 1945) in cui furono tolte di nuovo e tumulate in giardino per preservarle dalla guerra.

In the summer there is 'RAVENNA FESTIVAL', where you can see and listen to the best artist from various parts of the word.
Here you can find the whole program of the festival of this summer. Very elegant, man with jacket and tie.
There are 13 panels on each wall, depicting Christ’s miracles and parables (the left wall), and the Passion and Resurrection (the right wall).
Christ on the left is a young, beardless man, dressed as a Roman Emperor, while Christ on the right has got a beard. In this way the Arians wanted to emphasize that Christ grew older and became a ‘man of sorrows’.
There are also 16 saints, prophets and evangelists on each side. They are all individuals for themselves.
Then, there are 22 virgins, on the left, led by the Three Magi, moving from the city of Classe towards the group of the Madonna and Child, surrounded by four angels. On the right, there are 26 martyrs, led by Saint Martin, moving from the Palace of Theodoric towards Christ enthroned amid four angels.
There’s also the portrait of the Emperor Justinian.
