Albergo Morandi

This 3stars hotel, run by a family, has been recently fully refurbished and is in Via Emilia, the big road built by Romans which cuts in two all Emilia Romagna region. The location is really good to explore Reggio's downtown and from there you can walk to restaurants (I suggest "A mangiare" in the very near Viale Montegrappa), pubs or sightseeing points. If you have the car, they also have a private parking.

I never stayed there because I live there but an Indian friend of us stayed there 3 weeks and felt very confortable; each room is different from another. A double room costs from 80 to 120 euros per night, breakfast included.

Unique Quality: Very good location; it's a small hotel, you will feel like at home
