Oleanders everywhere

Oleanders are quite popular in the Mediterranean countries but in Rimini I found them in almost every garden. Sometimes they are bushy like the one in the picture, and in other places they are grown with special supporters to be quite high. They come in various colours: red, shades of pink, and white.
I like them a lot! I bought myself an oleander in a plant pot when I returned to Poland and I can't wait till it starts to bloom. It'll probably never be as bushy as this one but at least I have one to enjoy :-)

Rimini was the heart of the country for me during my journey to Italy. Only because I just lived there with our tourist group, taking a fast trips to bigger cities like Rome, Firenze or Venice (You can see my VT pages about all these cities as well!).
It is a small lovely city with marvellous night life, superb beaches, and wonderful people. Although you will see preferably German, English and Russian speaking tourists, and concentration of Tunesian and Maroccan salesmen is very high, you will defintely feel the atmosphere of truly Italian town.
I liked it a lot. The picture below shows a fragment of a beach in Rimini.
