THE 5 RIMINI'S
RIMINI is a massive beach resort that has everything. Maybe too much of the same thing, but it does have it. In a single 4 day weekend you can take the bus to the overlooking Mountain Republic of San Marino, explore Roman ruins, get a suntan and eat at great restaurants. The small nearby airport is served by the budget airline Ryanair and you have 2 train stations to choose from. Easy to get here and very easy to get around on mass transport. Why not?
"THERE ARE 5 RIMINI's !!!!"
I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY. MY HOTEL SAID IT WAS NEAR THE TRAIN STATION AND WAS IN RIMINI. THERE ARE 5 SECTIONS OF RIMINI AND I WAS 5 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM MY HOTEL IN 'RIMINI'.
ALL ARE ON A SINGLE STRAIGHT ROAD SERVED BY THE NO. 11 TROLLEYBUS. EASY ONCE YOU KNOW
"ROMAN HISTORY AND MORE"
RIMINI HAS A LOT TO OFFER. YOU CAN EXPLORE IT'S ROMAN HISTORY IN RUINS AND MUSEUMS THAT ARE SOMETIMES FREE. ALSO TRACE THE MEDIEVAL SPLENDOR AND EVEN WORLD WAR II IN THE COMPACT OLD TOWN.
