Dominic has given you the train information - it should be quite easy by train.

However, you need to figure out which airport in Milan you are coming in to, as there are 2 official ones, and a third that the discounter airlines call "Milan" (actually Bergamo). I say this because getting from the airport to the train station (as Dominic says, Milano Centrale station makes the most sense) is different depending on which airport you are coming in to....let us know...

Oh, also note that when you look at the trenitalia website that Dominic showed you, that there will likely be different types of trains along this route, and that the faster trains are more expensive. However, sometimes, the slower trains aren't much slower but are much cheaper...you should spend some time on that website looking at the different trains and times and fares...
