Travel Tips for Viserba

Viserba - Rimini tourist resort

by PetraG

"Lovely seaside"

Viserba is one of the provinces of Rimini county. It's famous for endless beaches and blues sea. In summer it surely is crowded here, but in spring we had the beach for us alone. Of course it was too cold to wear a bikini or have a swim. But this way we could admire the beauty of the region that you usually cannot do in summer.
I recommend you to come after the Easter holidays. There will be still no tourists, but the beaches will be ready prepared. One week before Easter they were just doing it...

"Viserba town"

The "town" of Viserba isn't big, but really nice. You can find there everything you need for a nice holiday: a train station, several bus stops and a main street with plenty of shops, restaurants, bar and icecream-stores. On the main place is this ugly little church and a supermarket. If you like to buy fresh local fruits, vegetables or cheese take the road on the right side of the church. There you will find a nice little market every Monday and Thursday morning.

"Theme park "Italia in miniatura""

This theme parc is really worth a visit. You can experience a wonderful and otherwise impossible adventure, exploring the cultural heritage of Italy and Europe through more than 270 perfect scale models of monuments and architectural masterpieces.
Miniature parks are especially popular in Europe because many tourists move around for cultural reasons. Today, the park covers an area that is four times larger than the original Italian boot-shaped peninsula. It boasts more than 270 models in varying scales from 1:25 to 1:50, including 119 Venetian palazzos that took nine years to complete. Through this park park, you can visit Italy's monuments and experience it's heritage in just a few hours.

Italia in miniatura - Venice boat ride

by PetraG

"Venice boat ride"

You absolutely should do this ride! It's so much fun and is included in the entrance ticket.

This is a very special attraction in the amusement park.
You sit in a little boat an ride through the Grand Chanel in Venice.

The ride is perfectly reconstructed from the beginningg of the Grand Chanel to the final station "Piazza San Marco".
This is me in front of the Rialt Bridge.

The houses are only 5 times smaller then the originals.
You can find miniatures of gondolas and boat stations, everything in a perfect reproduction.

On your way through Venice you're accompanied by the voice of the famous Casanova, who tells you everything about the history of this amazing city.

Some numbers:

Opened in 1992, after 9 years of work
Total number of reproduced buildings: 119.
Reproduction in size: 1:5.
Hight of Campanile di San Marco: 20 m
Total space of this attraction: 6.424 m²

You leave the boat on the Piazza San Marco (Marcus Place) and are able to walk over the place like in reality.
The tower has a hight of 20 m.

The miniature of the Basilica di San Marco (Marcus Cathedral) is just perfect and breathtaking!
