Huge campsite

We had a very pleasant stay here! The campground offers everything from shops, swimmingpool and excursions by bus to restaurants, take away and internet access.

We rented a holiday home on campsite Norcenni Girasole in Figline Valdarno, south of Florence, from 19 to 26 May 2007. From here, we made day trips to the towns of Florence, Siena and Fiesole, as well as short walks around Greve and Gaiole in the Chianti region. On Saturday 26 May, we moved to Bibbona near the Mediterranean coast.
Our holiday home on the campsite which we rented from a company called Roan. We'd stayed with them before on the Dutch campsite Duinrell, but this was the first time we were going to spend an entire three week holiday in their holiday homes and tents.

Transfer information

Myself,husband and 8 year old daughter are travelling on the 4th June to Pisa,how far is the train station from the airport, and is there a train that will take us to Figline Valdarno. We are staying at a campsite called Norcenni Girasole.Could you also give us an approximate cost if possible.

Have a look at www.trenitalia.com. There is a train station at the airport in Pisa

Hi,
from Pisa airport railway station you have several trains going directly to Florence (Firenze Santa Maria Novella - main station) and after you must change train to go to Figline Valdarno.

and remember to insert PISA AE on leaving from ?
(If you insert only Pisa the schedule will consider the main station in downtown)

Hi, We're doing the same as you in a couple of weeks.
How do you get from the railway statiion in Figline Valdarno to the campsite? ... Is there a local bus service or will it have to be a taxi?
