Casa del Cirica Apartment: A nice apartment in the Chianti countryside
Visited the village of Castagnoli, where the apartment is situated, then went to the near town of Gaiole in Chianti. In the afternoon visited the castle of Meleto (really interesting) and then the castle of Brolio (10km from the apartment) where we have eaten in the evening
Unique Quality: Parking in the street in front of the apartment. Nice external area with plants, a cherry tree and beautiful flowers..very relaxing!

Q: Getting There "I want to travel from Rome airport to Gaiole in Chianti...not by hiring a car.Happy to use buses/trains. Anyone done that?"
A: "you should first go by train to florence, then take a train to Siena and a bus from there... there aren't many busses to all these small destinations in the Chianti..."
