Pagnanelli: CAstel GAndolfo b&B with amazing views

I stayed at this small hotel (10 rooms only) on my honeymoon night in room number 10, the only one with a balcony. This family run small hotel has been there since 1988 and it is built on LAke Albano. It seems like a country hotel, the rooms are basic, but very clean. The beds are confortable, each room has it s own good size mosaic bathroom with shower.

As it is a family run hotel, each guest is treated in a warm friendly way, in the morning they bring you a tray in the room with freshly baked croissants, pastries and cappucino. For who prefers another type of breakfast, across the road from the hotel you either have a delicatessen where they do traditional porchetta rolls or any other savouries rolls or next door a cafeteria with local products, coffes etc.

Walking distance fro the Pope's summer residence and the town centre!

Dinner is served in the antico ristorante pagnanelli, part of the same family...but that's a different topic, but def a culinary experience!!www.pagnanelli.it
