Villa Tuscolana

A wonderful European hotel located in the hills outside Rome. Hotel grounds and building is beautiful. Rooms are not large, but very clean, tall cielings, and large windows and shutters that open completely to the outside. This is an excellent value. Limited English-speaking staff, but this was not a problem. The staff was very helpful.

Unique Quality: This was my very first stay in Europe, and so I am bit nostalgic about this place. Pulling up to the hotel after a long international flight and then a long taxi ride from Rome was such an unforgettable experience. This villa is a former cardinal residence and monestary way up on the top of a hill in Frascati. It was recommended to us by a European aquaintance, and we were very thankful for the suggestion.
