Oasi di Kufra: Sabaudia - Circeo great hotel

We stayed in this hotel only one night last January, but we were very, very happy.
Oasi di Kufra is a 4 star hotel, facing the sea and most of its rooms have a very nice view. We rented the De Luxe room with jacuzzi and a mini pool on a terrace (it's a pity that we were not able to use the mini pool as long as it was too cold in January). However we were enjoying the terrace and its great view (there is a great bed where you can sunbath).
The room was spacious with a large bathroom where you could sit in a jacuzzi and see the terrace or watch tv.
The breakfast was included and it was very good, I would say a bit more than regular continental breakfast.
The nightly rate starts from 150 E for a standard room, but we paid about 230 E for De Luxe one.
We went to Sabaudia and Circeo just for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary and we were very pleased with this hotel.

La Locanda della Chiocciola: Nice country hotel on Lazio/Umbria border

We stayed one night on route from Rome to Montefalco in Umbria. Arrived late (c 2230) but were offered cold platter and wine even though the restaurant had closed. Nice, quiet room with air conditioning and tasteful decorations. Good breakfast served by the delightful English-speaking owner Maria Cristina. Recommended even though we only had chance to spend one night.

Lovely buildings and rooms. Warm and friendly welcome.

Hotel Serapo: The front stalls at Gaeta

I didn't stay here but I definitely mingled with many of the guests of this magnificent hotel which occupies a prime position on the beach at Serapo. I hired chairs and umbrellas and used their change facilities and had an altogether great time on my daily trips to the beach.

Business people often say that the most important part of their business can be summed up in three words............position, position, position............and the Hotel Serapo has this hands down.

It seemed to me that most of the rooms would have a great view over the beach and the beautiful Mediterranean while only being a hop skip and a jump to the town centre and some great shopping opportunities.
