As I recall (and it's been a while), the problem is that when you reserve a place online, there was no mechanism in the online process for saying that you had a Romepass. Hmmmn, yep, the official ticketing website still says "I clienti in possesso di Romapass ancora valida sono invitati ad effettuare la sola prenotazione dell'ingresso telefonando allo 06.32810." (Clients who have a valid Romepass are asked to make the reservation just to enter by telephoning 06.32810).
So, take it up with the people who designed the ticketing website...:-(

Hi,
You can now have them call you. If you go to the Borghese gallery website you can click on the "call us free" button and they will call you and make the reservation.
Here is the link:

Let them know you will be using the romapass and they will make the reservation for you.

Travel Tips for Rome
There is so much to see and...
by KristinaLMF
There is so much to see and experience in Rome so pace yourself. Visiting St. Peter's Church and standing among the ruins of the Forum. It was really amazing to see all the place you learned about from your history classes.
Don't forget...

cases on wheels for the long trek down Termini station to the exit Really comfy shoes are needed for all the walking around the historical sights.
Take an empty bottle with you - there are so many water fountains around where you can refill with ice cold water. Sun block......even in March the sun is strong and can burn!!
Stores in Termini
by fairy_dust about Women's Clothing
I did some shopping in the Termini station - there are a lot of stores there that sell women's clothing. It wasn't too expensive either, I bought some nice things for less than 30 Euros each. I got a cute melon-pink sundress at Etam, and a black skirt at Mango. I paid 24 Euros for the sundress, and the skirt wasn't very expensive either (can't remember how much).
A Hidden Gem!
by Nikkospam82 about Vespri Siciliani
I stayed at the Rome Cavalieri Hilton and yes La Pergola was very nice, but it was also very expensive. If you are like my fiance and I, you like to spend money on good food, but after awhile you get tired of spending all your money( we wanted to come back to Cleveland with some souvenirs ya know?). We found a restaurant not too far away from the Hilton, in fact we walked there and it was well worth it! It was called "Vespri Siciliani" and it was on the corner of Via A. Cadlolo and P.Le Medaglie D'oro. I ordered the spaghetti with clams and my fiance had the lobster spaghetti. The sauce was amazing! The dishes were so simple yet so flavorful and no matter how hard I tried to recreate the dishes, they never were as good as the ones we had at Vespri Siciliani. Also, if you are a wine drinker you must order "Anthilia" by DonnaFugata....such a nice white wine that went well with the dishes and by itself.
innards!
by anne_h about Checchino dal 1887
If you like variety meats, you will love Checchino (pronounced KEH-KEE-NO). I had a plate that included intestines, glands, and testicles of various animals. Mmm mmm good! But never fear, they have plain grilled meats if your tastes are not so exotic. They are also famous for their oxtail dish--if you order it you get a commemorative plate. It's located in the Testaccio neighborhood, historically the home of the slaughterhouses.
Most of the staff speaks English. This is a nice place, so reservations are in order and dress accordingly.
