Nothing good apart location

This claims to be a four stars hotel but, as many four stars hotels in Rome and Italy in general, it has at least one star in excess. The only good thing of this hotel is the location, just 2 minuts from Termini railway station, really confortable if, like I did, you need to go to airport on early morning. Room was really small, we had to ask for heating, and it's controlled from reception, not from the room. Wi Fi is available paying 10 euro per day which is just too much.I paid a twin beds room witout breakfast 100 euros.

Unique Quality: Location.

The hotel where correspondence of the staff is kin

Correspondence of the staff was kind in the hotel near the Termini station.
Breakfast is various buffet styles. I stayed 5 nights , I did not get bored.
Although the room is quite narrow, it has a mini bar, a security box, amenities, etc.,
and equipment is ready.
But the bathroom was only a small shower booth of the first day , it changed into the room with the bathroom which a tab and shower attached from the next day -- it gave. Probably, it is good to mail a hotel for your hope in advance. Reply mail is arrived quickly.

Unique Quality: I drunk the mineral waters and soft drinks in a mini bar , there is no claim of a charge. and all are replaced at the next day.
There is service of a welcome drink by Bar of a hotel. It was orange juice.
The front staff of the hotel gave me the detailed map of Rome.

Very Clean and Friendly

Very clean and friendly, staff very helpful.
Room a nice size, we had clean sheets and towels everyday.
Breakfast included in price, plenty to choose from.
Pretty central to all the sights, all well within walking distance.
Termini just across the road.

Unique Quality: Central to all the sights.

Modern, almost Elegant, near the Train Station

At the price we booked, 80 euros per night in January, this hotel is a great bargain, perhaps the best value I've ever seen in Rome. Very convenient to the train station and toward the "good" side of town (i.e. west of the station). Still, not exactly a charming neighborhood.

The rooms are modern and clean, though they are on the small size you find in most Rome hotels. There was some noise from the street, but luckily it isn't on a particularly busy street. The bathrooms are quite nice, with one small exception - the showers are extremely small -- 20 inches (51 centimeters) square. Don't drop the soap! There is a large, hot breakfast buffet. At this price, I would definitely stay here again.

Unique Quality: Close to Termini. Great price reductions in the winter.

Information on Hotel Ariston Rome - near Termini Station

by diddles2001

Does anyone know anything about the above hotel. They say it's 4 star and I can get it for E159 per night.
We need to be close to the station to catch a train to the airport the next day. Or has nayone got any other recommendations for a nice hotel close to the station at this price ( or cheaper!)
Many thanks

Hi

Sorry I have no information about Hotel Ariston Rome but I agree that www.venere.com is an excellent site so make sure you check that out.

When we were there last month, we stayed at Hotel Gea di Vulcano which is a 5 minute walk to Termini Station. We paid E130 per night but we did book this almost 2 months before we arrive so that may have impacted on the price. The hotel is well located, the room was spacious and the staff were excellent. Again do check-out www.venere.com for more reviews.

The Hotel Raineri is less than a four minute cab ride to termini and the staff there will call a cab for you. We loved this hotel and it is cheap nice and had free breakfast a bar and an amazing staff that all speaks English. See my review for more info. And I will agree with booking on venere.com that was how we got a great hotel in Venice...

HOpe this helps...
