Ancient Ruins/Mall...Same Thing! by msbrandysue
So, as insane as it seems to a regular Texas girl, there are pieces of ancient buildings all over Rome. No, they don't destroy them, don't take a construction truck and plow them over, they just build on top of them! It was amazing to see! It completely blew me away and it took a while to get over that fact.Turns out the ruins in this picture were where a perfectly normal shopping mall was...with formations dating to before Christ....No biggie!
