I have not stayed at this property but I did look at the location. It is close to the termini station so you will be close to most of the attractions in Rome. There are also a lot of places to eat in this area. You will easily be able to walk from the termini to your hotel.

As you probably know Roman cats have always found shelter amongst the ancient ruins in Rome. The numerous postcards here of cats sitting on stumps of old Roman columns, cat napping on the foot of an emperor's statue, or just lounging near the Coliseum testify to the deep rooted image cats have in the city.

The gardens of Vatican city. There is a secret keyhole in a building near the entrance to the gardens, which you peek through and you can see a tiny image of St Peters Bacilica (the main cathedral where the Pope is). I met some local Italians one night and they showed me this place, which is well known to the locals but not tourists. It was so beautiful.
I chose a hotel that had a free shuttle to/from the airport and to/from the Termini and the Piazza Venezia. This cut down on both the cost and alleged risk of Italian taxis.
It really worked out quite well, as we were able to travel on the hour in airconditioned comfort, rather than taking our lives into our hands in a crazed taxi driver.
I actually became a bit weary of the Italian food. None of it knocked my socks off, but it was cheap, fast, and the service was fine. And I developed an enjoyable habit now of drinking red wine with every meal (well, not breakfast). Spagetti al carbonara
The Roman Forum is outstanding. Situated north of the Coliseum, the Forum consists of many ruined structures built over the course of several hundred years.
The Tomb of Julius Caesar is in the Forum as is a temple to the Vestal Virgins.
The Forum evokes the memories of Rome that you got from History books and movies.
This was probably my favorite place to visit in Rome. When you go see it, take in the Coliseum as well, it's close by.
