Boscolo Hotel Borromini: Just a step back from the madness

We stayed two nights at the Borromini Hotel in Rome. We stumbled upon it because we were driving into Rome and didn't want to drive right into the crazy city centre. As we drove down the Salaria we turned into a side road and there was the Borromini. We stayed in an air conditioned, en suite room with balcony, king size bed, mini-bar, TV etc for 132 euros per night.
For us personally the attraction of this hotel was the location. A 30 minute walk south and you were near the Spanish Steps. Or pick up a bus on the main road. Late at night we paid 10 euros for a taxi back to the hotel from the Trastevere district.
