Tickets to see AS Roma at the stadio olympico?

by Rosstipha

Hi visiting Rome at the end of the month, and Roma will be playing Fiorentina I believe.

I cant seem to find anywhere online selling tickets that are not a British company scamming football tourists for double the face value.
Watching Roma on TV it seems that apart from the Lazio game is rarely sells out so I would rather just pay face value from the club or an official ticket source Listickets.it which I assume is Italys version of ticketmaster?

Can anyone give me the scope on buying tickets?

I have only found this website:
http://www.official-roma-tickets.com/?gclid=CKzy677n4pYCFQpatAod3mDrOA
The website of AS Roma (www.asroma.it) doesn't allow to buy tickets for Roma-Fiorentina yet.

Whenever I have purchased tickets to a sporting event in Italy I have always purchased through the Office of Tourism for that City. Do a web search on either Firenza or Roma Agenzia per il Tourismo. You should find success. Good luck.

Hi, you can buy them from ASRoma stores. I have bought them from

Piazza Colonna n°360 - Roma Tel. 06.6786514 and

Via Appia Nuova n°130 - Roma Tel. 06.77590656

You need ID to buy the tickets. Going to games at Stadio olimpico is great -i'm jealous.
Have fun

It wasn't clear from my post that it is easy to buy the tickets in Rome. We went to three games at stadio olimpico last season and bought all tickets in Rome. Not only are they easy to buy, they're much cheaper. ciao

Travel Tips for Rome

Michelangelo's Pieta

by meteorologist1

Another excellent piece of art work by Michelangelo. The Pieta is housed in the St.Peter's Basilica. It is located on the right when you enter the basilica. I learned all about this piece of work in my high school art class and finally got to see it myself.

Pompeii

by cfuentesm

Take a train (about 2 hours travel) and visit Pompeii which was a tomb of a civilization, destroyed and petrified bu the eruption of the Vesuvius on AD 79. Here reside some of the most famous excavations of all times. You can walk the ruins and see petrified real people. Very hot during the summer!

Pub Crawl!!!!!

by Venturingnow about Everywhere in Rome

Just about at any hostel or bar you can arrange to get involved in a Pub Crawl, a fantastic night out in Rome. You hop around some bars, get free drink cards to redeem at these bars, and then check out some sights like the colosseum while wasted! What could be better?

Nice restaurant on Piazza Navona

by Gloke about Tre Scalini

Nice restaurant on Piazza Navona with friendly waiters which is mostly a rarity in Italy.
They were very helpfull, tried to talk to us in English while we tried to talk their language which is really appreciated over there.
The price is above average but with that you got some live music and could enjoy the atmospere there is on the piazza every day and evening.
We went there for lunch one day and went back for dinner because of the atmosphere, good food and friendly waiters. I started with ham and melon for starters, then penne all'arrabiata for primo piatti and scampi grilli for second piatti. Everything was really good and the size of the pasta plate was huge for a primo piatti.

The Coliseum, of course...

by Sissyz

...it's almost impossible to go to Rome without, at least, glimpsing the Coliseum. This amphitheater/stadium is so amazing – it was built over 1900 years ago, yet it still looks great. It is definitely a must see, even if you can’t make it inside it is worth seeing the outside.
