It was a kinda a strange setup to me. The building actually housed 2 hotels. The ground floor was divided, 1/2 for each hotel reception. The remaining floors were allocated to each hotel equally, but not togeather. IE Altavilla had from memory (vague,) floors 2, 4&5.
The room I had was very small, but, you don't go stay in a foreign city to take tours of the hotel do you.
Breakfast was included which was adequate. The staff I found friendly and helpful as well.
Another plus is it was 5 mins walk from a major tour company that did the Rome tours and also ran a hop on hop off bus.
All in all great for what I wanted which was central, and somewhere to put my head at night.
Great location
