We found City Guest House online and since it was near a Metro stop and it was available for 95 euro per night (double, breakfast included) we decided to give it a shot. It was in a fairly convenient and seemingly safe location, about 5 minute walk the Metro in a residential area. The room was nothing to write home about, but it was clean and spacious (by European standards). I was disappointed that the Internet point in the lobby was "broken" for the three nights that we were there. Breakfast was good--coffee and espresso drinks, juice, brioche, etc. All in all, we were very satisfied with hotel and would recommend it as a good value for visiting Rome.
