Good place to watch the Italy match?
Hey everyone. Any suggestions of a good sports bar or pub where I can watch the Italy vs. Spain match this upcoming Sunday? Our hotel is near the Vatican Museum, so around here or in any of the main areas. Thanks.

Hi Karlie,
I can't remember the name of it, but I watched the Italy vs Romania game on the 13th at a bar on Corso Vittorio Emmanuele. If you cross Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II it'll be on your left side, not too far after crossing the bridge. Hopefully someone will be able to give you a more specific location, but if you don't hear about a better place just look for somewhere that is packed. That probably means people like it! :o)

Travel Tips for Rome
Green paradise
Rome is not only ancient ruins but also a green paradise. Its quiet relaxing to sit in the Borghese away from city noise and breath fresh air. Not only does it contaion a very interesting attraction, the Villa Borghese but it is also a perfect spot for picnicking and has childrens and family activities like riding on rented group bicycles.
An exotic corner
Welcome to this exotic corner located at walking distance from the Pantheon. Habana is a small and friendly pub with an spirit that is overwhelming. In the first room, the bar, you can try one of the many tropical cocktails (cuba libre, mojito, caipirinha and many others) together with a sandwich or other snacks offered at the bar.
The second main room, if you manage to get there, is the entertainment room and its where the dance floor and the stage are situated. Live music rock and pop covers are played on Friday and Saturday nights followed by dancemusic that goes on until closing time.
for real modern style roman cuisine
It is a small place in the Prati area, not far from the Vatican.Runned by wife and husband team (Stefania & Arcangelo) it is one of the best places in town where to try great local recipes with a modern touch.
They have a good selection of Italian wines and olive oil.
Pasta and bread are home made.
Vatican museum
I almost didnt go to the museum. I went to the basilica first and saw a HUGE line for the museum which discouraged me. So skipped the museum. In the evening, my roommate at the hostel suggested to give it a try at around 10AM in the morning the next day. So I went, and I think I stood in q, may be for 20-30mins. I really thank him for that. This museum is simply great. Its a must see.
