Just wonder around!
by stfan
Why not just take a walk and get lost and try to find your way. I did that after I saw the Panthion. I walked for couple of hours along the river and it was amazing! I saw so many things that I wouldnt have seen otherwise.
So enjoy the real Rome and have some fun!
Tourists
by shivan
I saw many tourists in the Corso surrounded by waves of crazy people shouting a running everywhere.
It has been funny to see their faces, embarassed (Especially the japanese), a bit scared sometimes, but most of the times really happy because they were living a unique event in Rome.
italian suits
by domenicococozza about romis
Small menswear store in the centre of Rome. Traditional Italian suits, shirts, ties etc.
Run by a husband and wife team. If you find a garment that you want, they will make any necessary alteration/s whilst you get a cup of coffee. The suits are designed in classic Italian style. Hanstitching everywhere and plenty of different materials from silk to lightweight wool. Bartering is the name of the game. I picked up a 900 euro suit for 300 euros. To get this deal I also bought a shirt and two ties at full retail price. Still an incredible bargain
The subways or metros all over...
by Ricardo_J_M
The subways or metros all over Europe are wonderful and easy to navigate. America ought to take notes!
DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE! I must say that drivers in Rome are the worst. I thought Mexico City was bad...well looks like Rome takes the cake.
Piazza della Rotonda
by Gili_S about Bar D. Rotonda
This is very popular area with restaurants, coffee shops and terraces. I picked up the place because it had a free table to seat outside, which was a good spot to have an afternoon break on a beautiful sunny day in Rome.
