Be Quiet in the Churches
by ethereal
Be respectful, although you're travelling and it seems like a vacation for you, people around you, especially the locals, are living their everyday routine and that includes escaping to their churches for moments of silence and reflection. Respect that!
Big Foot - Pie' de Marmo
by sandysmith
Fragments of gigantic ancient roman statues can be found all over the city. This foot could have come from a statue in a temple dedicated to Egyptian gods. Originally it would have beeen painted and coverred with jewels as a votive offering.

Excellent quality and professional service!
by Jenniflower about Trattoria Pizzeria Ristorante
This restaurant was a few metres form our front door. It was upmarket, inside and we had to try it out! We ended up coming here twice as we thoroughly enjoyed it.
It is a bit expensive, but was a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, from the caring and very efficient waiters (something which, sad to say, Rome does lack somewhat), to the exquisite food and ambiance.
Midnight Karaoke
by DaniBachmann
We went to the Spanish steps every single night- they aren't only nice to look at during the day. At nights most of the Student groups meet at the steps and most of the times you also meet Italian teens there. At around midnight someone would usually take out his guitar and the whole lot starts singing- lots of fun!!
But look out for pickpockets!!!
