After being crammed into the matchbox in London, this was absolute luxury. The bathroom was larger than our entire hotel in London. The beds were large and comfortable, plenty of space in the closets and dressers, a desk to write at, room to move around without running into each other. The shower was gorgeous, wonderful amenities in the bathroom. Everything was very clean, and cleaned very well every day. There was free internet access in the lobby, which came in handy when we had airline problems at the end of our stay. We had the breakfast buffet one morning, which was extra, but was excellent.
Drawbacks: located on the very eastside of the city and not easy to get to. Learned to get there by public transportation, take the underground then the bus, then it is about a 1/4 mile walk from the bus stop. They offer transport, but only at certain hours and charge. That is the only way to get into town on Sundays, as the bus does not run then.
Also, the service at the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. When we were checking in, after a horrible trip to the hotel, we waited so long, only to be told our room was not ready yet and to they would be right with us. They then waited on the people behind us, got them a room immediately, 1/2 hour later, we were still waiting. We ended up getting a different room, probably because I was getting quite irritated.
