I ve been many many times in Rome but this time I was with my car and I found this place on the internet.First of all its very easy to find the place.When you travel in another country you are always a little nervous and hectic about the place that you are looking for.Anyway camping is situated Via Aurelia 831 and you can find immediately after leaving the tagenziale in Aurelia ss 1
Its a huge camping with all the facilities included swimming pool,restaurants disco etc etc
There are also bungalows and Chalets if you not a fun of camping.
With the bus station in the door the access to the city and metro network is very easy...
Unique Quality: good and competent staff with maximum security ..congratulations

Camping close to City
Why spend your ALL your time in the overcrowded, overheated citycentre ?
I took my little tent and a cheap flight from Sweden. On the Web I found this place. Perfect for the budgettraveler. Big parcarea, clean, safe, guarded 24 h, Great ristorante and pizzeria, shop AND best of all .....a completely new swimmingpool ,free of carge of course.
Transportation no problems, bus or local train 10-15 min to centre of Rome

Unique Quality: After a nice, but hot day , in Rome city enjoy nice company ( always at campsites) and THE POOL and relax with a cold beer instead of the nightlife in Rome which you cannot afford anyway:-)

Nice big parcarea with bungalows at all costs for rent.
Perfect for a family or backpackers !

I'm going to Rome in Dec, found a cheap hostel by the name as above. Anyone know anythin abt this place? Any advise? Is it too far from main attraction? Pls give me ur inputs. Thx

If it's on Via Flaminio, you'll be fine. That's around where I went to school. Funny street. Anyway, the Metro is all around, and if I recall, there is a Flaminio stop. Take that, and go where you want. It is a bit of a walk to the center (like to the Pantheon and whatnot) but you could also get buses, too. If the place is nice, stay there, that location will be fine.
I find staying a bit outside the action makes it more interesting to re-enter it every day (and cheaper).
