We loved Galilei
The only caution about Galilei Guesthouse is remember to bring the directions for how to get to it once you're in the building. You have to go up to the fourth floor in the elevator. Also, it's cash only, although they're happy to wait until you get the cash, if you don't have it at check-in.
Our room was nice and spacious, with its own bathroom (although the other 2 rooms shared one), and it had more than enough room for the four of us. In fact our very helpful host said it would have been fine if it had been all five of us staying, since we all arrived to check in, but our oldest daughter was leaving us for her own group that evening.
Breakfast is serve-yourself in the kitchen, and basic. There's free wifi and a desktop you can use. The location is close to the colosseum and Roman forum, the metro is right nearby, and Termini station is a reasonable walk. I didn't notice much street noise.
