Quiet 2-Star Refuge

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on January 8, 2006

This hotel was excellent -- it probably would rate 3 stars if it had an elevator. The most impressive thing about the hotel was how quiet it was. Despite being in the middle of Rome, not far from the Termini station, it managed to be on a quiet street. The hotel was professionally run, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and a pleasant breakfast was served on the terrace.

Unique Quality: - Within walking distance of Termini station
- Clean, comfortable and quiet
- Friendly owners with plentiful touring advice
- Breakfast included

Directions: From the Termini Station, head towards Piazza della Reppublica. At the circle, turn left onto Via Nazionale, then right on Via Torino. Then turn left on Via Modena. Hotel will be on your left, one floor above ground.

A lovely & comfortable family run small hotel

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on September 16, 2004

Hotel Adler was very reasonably priced & was nicely furnished. The lovely older couple who own
this 9 room B & B with its cheery outdoor breakfast
area are as friendly and nice as they can be. It's
located on a quiet street in a large building on the
3rd floor. A wrought iron elevator takes you up to the hotel after you are buzzed in at the front door.

The location is good because it is in a nice area
with lovely shops & restaurants nearby. Also, the
Borghese is to the north, the Vatican & other sites
to the south & the train terminal a few blocks away.

Directions: Near train station and Piazza della Rupubblica

Residence Adler

by written on August 24, 2002

In Rick Steve’s Italy 2000 lists Doubles with Bath at 200,000 Lire (about 100 US dollars), which includes breakfast

Unique Quality: Residence Adler has wide halls, a garden patio, and eight quiet, elegant, and air-conditioned rooms in a great locale. It’s family run and very charming. The building has an elevator.
