Very clean, right down the street from the Colosseum and close to the major attractions. Good price. I would stay there again, paid 120 dollars per night in August 2009. Only downside is their towels were very thin material. I would bring a bath towel if I stayed again.
Unique Quality: Had a great breakfast with coffee, juices, lots of fruit, breads and meats. The breakfast is on the roof of the building.
Directions: you can walk from the train station
Good location for walking to the forum, colosseum, and much of the ancient city, with lots of possible restaurants nearby.
Rooms are small by N. American standards - but quite adequate, with full bathroom facilities - and they were clean. Cute little elevator - but the access to the rooftop breakfast is by a set of stairs. Included breakfast was European style in choice - but included yogurt & cereal as well as lots of fruit, breads, cereals etc - and the choice of American coffee, if desired.
Ice machine was broken when we were there (Oct. 3, 2007) - but staff was friendly and helpful. Beware of closing safe before reading instructions!!!!
Unique Quality: Colosseum can be seen - from the street at the front door of hotel!
