Hotel and Hostel Colors is on the third and fourth level (no lift) of a corner apartment block of a quiet residential street. All rooms are airconditioned, and some have en-suite, which is what we had. Good showers, clean rooms. Breakfast is included in the price, although we never got around to taking part as we were usually gone before it was served. We had mixed service from reception, depending on who was on duty, but overall we have no complaints.
St. Peter's Square is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It's quiet, which isn't always the case in some of Rome's hotels. There's a small terrance with a pleasant view. The reception staff are all English speakers.
