Hello everyone, I am planning on booking Hotel de Petris (Via Rasella 142 - 00187 Rome -Trevi Fountain ) from November 4 to the 8/08 (4 nights). I got a quote of EU125 (the price I am looking for!), does anyone know this hotel? Is it a decent hotel and well located?

Thanks, 125 per night, I have read all the reviews but find that advise from locals or people that have actually stayed at the hotel is more accurate.

The location seems sound enough. Haven't actually stayed there, as it's way outside my budget; I stay around the Termini area usually.

Usually the reviews on tripadvisor and venere are from people that have actually stayed at the respective hotel.

Agreed. Which is why I always look there myself, and why I posted them. Venere send a questionnaire to you a couple of weeks after your stay. My reviews appear online, so I know others' reviews are equally valid.

I never checked this hotel personally and I never had clients staying there, but I can confirm that location is very good being only few minutes walk from Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps.
From the pictures you see on their web site (www.hoteldepetris.com)it looks nice but I would not be surprised if not all rooms are like that. The rate you have got is very interesting especially if it includes tax, service and buffet breakfast.
Also consider that beginning of november it is still high season here in Rome and it is not easy to find central accommodation at a good price.
