The Pensione Navona...awful place really. Their idea of a 'continental breakfast' was a hard roll that you could use for racket-ball, and caffe--period! And the rooms there were pretty awful, along with a staff that was tourist-weary and acted like it. In 1997, it was the least expensive I could find in that area, but I would never stay there again..no way, no how!
It's in the perfect location--right between the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Based upon my experience, I wouldn't recommend it. (Maybe things have changed since 1997, who knows?)
This hotel was right off of the Piazza Navona and has ruins right inside of the building. The rooms were small but clean. Don't expect luxurious accomodations but expect clean and comfortable. No TV or fancy room items but who needs them when you're in Rome!
Great building with ruins in lobby. Very friendly staff. 2 minutes from Piazza Navona. There are so many restaurants and cafes in the immediate area and not all of them are tourist-crap. Very convenient for first time visitors to Rome.
