Reasonably priced hotel in a good location
A basic 2-3 star hotel, a nice and clean place enough for budget travellers but not for those looking for a luxurious place. Perfect location (see below).
Be aware of normal travel security precautions: at nighttime there might be some unwanted people hanging around - as in all major cities in the world that are located next to the city's main train station.
A good thing was the fact that the Carabinieri patrolled the area every 5 minutes, visited local bars etc. so it was safe in that sense.
Also ten points to our hotel reception for security awareness: we took two Carabinieri-friends (in civil clothes) to our room to celebrate something together. The reception lady took the ID's of our two friends to keep them while our friends were in our room.
Unique Quality: Perhaps the best thing was the location. Being near the Termini station we had all the transportation means available all the time: feet, buses, taxi, train, metro.
It was also nice to have the local bar next to us; we made friends with the staff and even with local Carabinieris patrolling the area.
