Good location
I went to Rome last summer with another couple of friends. We loved this city: food, friendly people, marvellous historical sites! We stayed at the small Hotel Portoghesi: excellent location for walking tour of old town Rome. Good breakfast with good service, served on the rooftop. It was a great way to start the day! It's a little bit expensive if you go alone other only with another person, but we were four and we stayed together in the suite that easily accomodated us! So the price was perfect!
Unique Quality: Breakfast on the rooftop and the location just few minutes walk from the major monuments.

Our Family Favorite
We have stayed in the main hotel and they also have an apartment that sleeps four very comfortably with a fridge and stove. The breakfast on top of the hotel is great, and the coffee was perfect.

You can either send them on email online through their website, or look at "Where We Are" for their voice and fax numbers as well as their email address.
