Great small hotel near Campo dei Fiore

We stayed in the superior double room, Room 301, from 08 Dec. to 14 Dec. 2004, with the extended stay discount (4 nights or more, 15% discount per hotel web site). The hotel is located a few blocks away from the Campo dei Fiore, near the Chiesa Nuova, one block off the Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle. Via del Pellegtino is a narrow, atmospheric street with fascinating shops. The double glazing of the windows keeps out the noise from the street quite effectively.
The hotel is ideally placed for enjoying walking to the Vatican, Via Guilia, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Ghetto, the Forum, Via del Corso, and all the sights of Rome. Great restaurants nearby, including right on Via del Pellegrino.

The superior double has a large bathroom, supplied with large bath towels, and a shower. The bathroom heating unit serves double duty as a heated towel rack and a way to dry socks and anything else you might rinse out in the sink. Built-in hair-dryer and good lights above the sink for putting on make-up.

The TV with remote control has many Italian channels, a few French channels, and CNN International in English.
The cozy breakfast room serves breakfast from 7 to 10 in the morning, consisting of fresh rolls and croissants, yogurt, cold cereal, orange juice, canned fruit, and delicious coffee.
There is a dial-up computer in the lounge available at 2 Euros for 15 minutes/6 Euros for 1 hour if you don't want to lug your laptop with you; there is internet connection availability in the hotel rooms. Bedside lamps make reading your guidebooks and planning your days easy.
Really can't say enough nice things about the family that run the hotel and took care of making reservations for a car to take us to the airport before dawn.
Definitely would return and would highly recommend the hotel to someone else.

Unique Quality: One of the 4th floor/top floor rooms has access to the roof and has a table and chairs there. If we were to return in the warmer weather, we'd request that room.

Lift accommodates 3 people or 2 people and some of their luggage. The lift services the 1, 2 & 3 floors, but doesn't go up to the 4th floor.
