The theme of our stay at Hotel Solid is "Not Possible" I fee like that's all that I heard while there. Every time we asked about something, the response was always "not possible" (with an Italian accent) The rooms are very small, the breakfast area is very small. If you are going to breakfast during peak hours, you won't have a place to sit and "it's not possible" to take any dishes out of the dining area, so you are SOL. The breakfast selection is very minimal, the worse I've seen in Europe. This hotel is located on a busy street, so if your window faces the street, good luck sleeping past 7am.
Unlike everything else about Hotel Solis, I did like it's location. It's located right next to the Colloseum and the tomb of the unknown soldier. It's close to the train station and walking distance to all the sights to see including the Vatican.
