Vietato Fumare

Yesss you can not smoke on public places like restaurants, metro station, bars, pubs, working place, etc. The only place where you can smoke is on the street.
Siiii para los no fumadores esta muy bien. En Italia esta prohibido fumar en lugares publicos como restaurantes, bars, lugares de trabajo, etc. En el unico sitio publico donde puedes fumar es en la calle.
Villa Celimontana

The Celian Hill, although within easy walking distance of the Colosseum and the forum, is an entirely different experience. remarkably quiet and peaceful, with some lovely churches (see tips on Santo Stefano Rotondo and Santi Giovanni e Paulo), the Case Romane 'hidden' Roman houses/street and the lovely, shady park of Villa Celimontana.
This is a nice place to take a picnic (there's a supermarket nearby in Largo Sanita Militaire, off Via Claudia), or a rest from the heat of midday. There are trees, and plants, and fountains (albeit rather small when I visited) , grassy slopes and a children's playground.
And rather good free toilets, hidden away behind a super construction of ancient Roman stonework which makes a very pretty rockery!
You can access the park from Clivio de Scauro, or from Via della Navicula (which follows on from Via Caudia).
Getting around by Metro/Bus
by kindle
Not at all easy figuring out how to navigate the Metro & Bus system upon arrival at Stazione Termini railway station. Bring a map or make sure your guidebook has a good map. You can buy a one day Metro/Bus ticket for about 4 Euros at any tabacco shop.
Severo 2000

This small restaurant looks like it came straight out of the movies. A rotond cook that looks like Chef Boyardee and a small waitstaff. This place was visually great. But the food was even better! I tried several dishes here but the lasagne was my absolute favorite. The portions are huge (enough to share, easily) and inexpensive. Oh! the lasagne!!!
Extraordinary!

What to say about the Coliseo? It's big, it's ancient & it's definitely unique! It looks like the Romans really enjoyed themselves back then... :) You might have to wait a bit longer get inside, but when you do, be sure to check out every corner of it! Every inch of this architectural masterpiece is amazing.
There is a couple of dozens of coliseums located all around the Mediterranean. One of them is in Istria's Pula, the third biggest & one of the best preserved in the world.
