Stayed here a couple of days, almost opposite the Termini train station. Quite OK, nothing special but the location is quite convenient. Around 100 Euros per room per night.

I have to say before anything that I was so lucky to get that Hotel, it is so hard to find one in Rome, most of the times it is full and no rooms for reasnoble prices, even though this one was not cheap, 60 Euro for a night, but I was forced to have it, or I'd sleep 3 nights in the streets :-p 3 Stars
Can anyone recommend a hotel by the Termini Train Station that is not too expensive (100-125 Euros)?

In 2004 I stayed at Hotel Marsala. Just opposite the Termini train station. It was quite OK.

There are a lot of nice hotels in the Termini area ...
i stayed at the "Lazio Hotel" on Via Vincenza (just of via Marsala )
... it was really nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful !

Two years ago Hotel Madison was charging EU75.00 for very nice clean modern doubles, incl. a good buffet breakfast. It's just outside the north side of the station on the street running parallel to the low numbered tracks. The endless pink upholstered corridors are a bit strange.
Beside Republicca - about 600 metres from Termini, I always recommend Hotel Miami www.hotelemiami.com. 100 Euros for a double room B&B, I have reviewed this hotel if it is of interest.
