    I don’t have a photograph of Hotel Nardizzi but I do have a sketch I did while sitting on the small terrace that breakfast is served on. I have stayed in this hotel a number of times over the years and have always enjoyed both the convenience of the location and the family manor in which it is run.

    The terrace has changed and is now covered and I now stay with friends when in Roma but one fond memory is of opening the window of my corner room and watching the mounted guard leave their barracks adjacent.

    The rooms are generous and quiet and advice is always at hand. I recommend this accommodation with confidence.

    • This place is great in soo many ways. The staff are friendly, the rooms are remarkabley modern considering the bulding itself looks over a 100 years old, it is one of the most affordable hotels in Rome and the breakfasts are great too--especially the coffee which was the best I have tasted.

    This hotel is located across the street from the Ministry of Defense so you know it is a safe location and not to far from the Piazza de la Republica.
