We booked online. The hotel was advertised as 2 stars, but looked nice enough in the pictures. Well, when we got to the hotel, I'd say that 2 stars was very generous. Our room was dirty, the beds were small and uncomfortable. We were supposed to be in an air conditioned room, but all we got was a fan, and that didn't even work. When I told the front desk, they didn't seem to care and didn't do anything about it. The guy was actually very rude. There was an elevator, but you could only use it if you were accompanied by someone that works there. Reception was on the 2nd floor, and all the other rooms were above that, so you were taking the stairs alot. This can be a pain if you have heavy bags. We started and finished our Italy trip in Rome. This is the hotel where we started, and needless to say, we found a different (and much better) hotel for the end leg of our trip. Do not stay here.
