First stayed here in 2001, in single room. A fair sized room, but at the front of the hotel, very noisy. minute window. Stayed there in 2006, requested a rear room. The room No. 96. I would recommend it as it was on the top floor, at the rear, and it had a small balcony which could take two folding chairs. Superb partial view of the Victor Emmanuel Monument. Room was comfortable. Bathroom (Without bath) was good. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, with cereals, fruit, croissants, cheeses, bread rolls, jam, marmalade, tea, and coffee. An absolutely superb roof terrace with views of Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Janiculum, St. Peters, and pincio gardens. The ideal place to enjoy a candlelight evening Gin and Tonic to round off the day. I have booked the same room for this year, 2007 in August. It is an ideal starting off point with e.g. Trevi Fountain only 10mins walk, Coloseum, 10mins walk.Victor Emmanual Monument 5 min walk.
Superb Roof Terrace. Great views, Ideal Location, Helpful Staff. Theme: HotelComparison: about average

amazing sunsets! by GroovyDoc Excellent location between Fontana di Trevi and Piazza Venezia. The staff are multilingual which is a big plus. Also, there is a nice rooftop terrace from which you can view great sunsets, paint, read a book, or just sit and chat. Rooms are small but well maintained. The bathroom was huge, marble, and larger than the living area. TV's had access to CNN World and BBC.

 | Pace Helvezia: Good 4* Hotel in Rome

Just came back from a 4 day stay in this hotel in Rome. It's a really good centered hotel in walking distance of all the main sightseeing places in Rome. You could walk up to the trevi fountains, spanish steps, pantheon, colosseum, piazza navona, piazza venezia. The rooms were good and large for a city standard. The bathroom was good size too. Breakfast was good, lots of cheese, yoghurts, fruit, sandwiches, croissants, eggs,... It's not a huge breakfast as you would get if you go on a summer holiday to an all inclusive but then you are in a city and things in hotels there are different then anywhere else. The view from the roof terrace is beautifull, great pictures to take up there. I thought it was a good hotel, if you visit it try to get a room on the backside of the hotel as the street in front of it is really busy, day and night!
Great view from roof terrace! Theme: HotelPrice: US$80-120 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: Near Piazza Venezia, right in the middle of the centre of Rome, everything in walking distance
