The Colosseum
(More pics are in Travelogue ^^) It's a symbol of Rome.
Also it's my first station in Rome. When I got out of the subway station and tried to find its exact location on the map, I suddenly saw it standing before my eyes just on the other side of the street!
It's silent, silent as me that moment. Time stops, no, time is frozen in those huge stones.
When I go over the steep, dark stairs; when I touch the colums standing there more than one thousand years; when I stared grass waving in the gap of wall...
how can I imagine its glorious time?
There must have had thousands of people, crowded in it, yielded, emotionally, crazily... However, all secens had disappeared in the wind of time. Only left itself, silently.
Is it recalling its glorious past?

by janchan about Birreria Peroni
This is a great spot to taste some good italian beer (like the Peroni Gran Riserva) together with a great food too.
Beware of the waiters !! They like to joke a lot ...hehe...
A really funny place !
If you feel brave enough.... ask for the "special dish" of the house..... you won't forget it !!
It is always full of people... so better avoid to go there on saturday. Super-casual

Trinità dei Monti
by MM212
One of the most recognisable churches in Rome (perhaps only second to Saint Peter's), Trinità dei Monti stands dominant above Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti (Spanish Steps). The church dates from the 16th century and recently underwent extensive restoration work to bring it to its current beautiful whitewashed form.
