convenient and quietS
Stayed here for 3 nights, hotel staff is friendly and fluent in several foreign languages. Has a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking st peters square. Rooms are very small but somewhat typical for Europe , very clean, well equipped bathroom, good working A/c and pleasant breakfast buffet with a decent amount of choices hot and cold.
Unique Quality: The best feature of this hotel was its proximity to St Peters square and the vatican, located directly across the street.

Vatican's Best?
As far as I know, this is about the only hotel actually on St Peter's Square.
Whatever, just step outside the front door and you're beside the collonades...
It really couldn't have been better!
It has a roof top bar/terrace that is absolutely perfect!
Not quite as big as the web-site might suggest, but that is of no consequence...the views of St Peter's and across at the Papal Appartments opposite are never to be forgotten!
The entrance can be seen between the first two collumns on the left...
The terrace is on the second building up from the bottom on the right of the second pic.
You can only sit under the arches at the end where the greenery is...but that is enough!
