I didnt actually end up staying here it was so difficult - I had booked the Villa Maria from the internet and although they said they would send a car to get us at the airport, this failed to arrive. No one spoke English and even though I had booked 5 nights, they refused to help me. So we didnt show up. They have never responded to any subsequent emails. they are at least 30 kms not 5 kms outside rome, with limited transport services. A daily taxi ride into the city and back would be 70 to 100 euros!! Not cheap and no way could we afford to do this.
Uniquely the staff were unable to speak English, and were extremely unhelpful, saying that they had never received any emails from me about picking us up at the airport, despite me sending them confirmations after I got back home to show they had confirmed this!
