Look at Trevi fountain.
by barcodex
Accidentally discovered by 2 soldiers about 2 thousand years ago, fountain began to look a little bit different nowadays...
This place is ALWAYS overcrowded, and yes, it's understood. Fountain is really great! Don't try to make a good picture, better buy a postcard with Trevi Fountain in souvenirs shop.
San Bernardo alle Terme
by Cristian_Uluru
In front of the church of St.Susanna, in Piazza San Bernardo there is the church of San Bernardo alle Terme (church of St.Bernard at the Baths of Diocletian).
The church was built in 1598 in one of the spherical tower of the external perimeter of the Baths of Diocletian thanks to Caterina Sforza di Santafiora.
The structure of San Bernardo alle Terme is cylindrical and it is very similar to the Pantheon with a dome and an oculus. The building has a diameter of 22 metersand the decorations of the dome decoration is made with octagonal coffers.
Inside you can see eight statues of saints made by Camillo Mariani (1600). In the Chapel of St Francis there is a sculpture of the saint made by Giacomo Antonio Fancelli.
Magico Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano
by Krystynn
More 'live' entertainment staged at the Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano.
If money is not a problem for you, then I would like to highly recommend this castle in the Castelli Romani region.

La Bocca della Verita, or "The Mouth of Truth," is one of those stops everybody should see in Rome, but it's also an obvious tourist trap. But at least there's no admission. The only trick is seeing when it's open. I went to see it when it was supposed to be open, but the gate was locked when we arrived, so we had to view it through metal bars. However, as such a huge fan of the movie Roman Holiday, I had to see it nonetheless.
