The Via Appia remains in Terracina may be reduced

to this, pretty beautiful archway in the ancient Roman area. These remains can be found one level up from sea level. Terracina bus terminal is quite large but directly opposite the bar built into the side of the mountain is a staircase ............. if walking this is the quickest way up to the next level. When you reach the top you will see a fountain (I will put it up on off the beaten path) walk past and take the left hand route to the town piazza. A little way along you will see the archeological sign indicating the archway on your right.......before the piazza.
Amazing Terracina

"On a clear day............."
The Tempio di Giove, Terracina is an amazing place. I don't know much about architecture but this line of umpteen dooways really impressed me. This is a popular shot, similar to many postcards that I saw about the place before I went.
"Terracina Township"
Terracina township, like many of the seaside towns in Lazio is divided into sections. This photo is mostly of those residences and shops on the flat area beside the sea and before the mountain of the temple.
"Alongside the Tempio di Giove."
Another building with a host of little rooms/cubicles inside and a courtyard out the back (further away from the camera).
